Tournament Information 

The Jim Ryan Memorial Tennis Tournament originally was called the "Good Neighbor Championships." The name was changed in 1997 after the passing of Staten Island's #1 tennis fan Jim Ryan.

The event, which began in 1992, was started so Island players could have another chance to hone their skills and abilities and to possibly play off-island opponents. In 1993 a junior event was added so kids could have the same opportunity and in 2002 we added women's event. This year, 2010, we are adding a Men's 35 singles event.

•  Locker Rooms

  Not available. Bathrooms will be used in the Harbor View building on Wagner College Campus.

   

•  Trainers

  Available, but not on site at all times. Please make arrangements with Ed or Mayuko as soon as possible if you know you will need a trainer before your match begins.

   

•  Practice Courts

  Whenever court is available.

   

•  Parking

  At the Wagner College tiers parking lot on Howard Avenue.
